I have been making music for about four years with my friends (Mostly via Fruity Loops), and we really haven't had many avenues through which to let our music be heard. It's like you post up at your spot, chill with your people, burn and flow, and that's pretty much it. So it's great to have flows to put over them that extract some of the better qualities of both sets of artists. I invite you and all who read this to check out my myspace page and hear some of what I've done. I left one track up that my friends and I did at his place one afternoon (as I said, we are just getting to a point of having decent recording quality, but the beats have been there for a little while now). man what a wonderful thing of the beasties to do - release weekly acapellas, it created such a fun environment as a budding musician - i got my start making beastie boys remixes on here and have come such a long way.

unfortunately universal have claimed my too many rappers remix and taken it down from youtube for copyright infringement, which i know has nothing to do with the beasties but feel they would not agree with universal on this approach as they were such big supporters of remixes, providing the tools to fans to make them and share them, and commission loads for their criterion dvd and various singles.
