Man, this is like one of the coolest things a band could do for their fans...so much appreciated.

Problem: I'm rockin' an imac and its only downloading them in a quicktime movie format, rather than an mp3 format...and where it says format my only option is quicktime...any help would be cool...

Perhaps once the files are downloaded you could rename the file extension to .mp3? Does that work?

I've had that problem before. If you have some other media player you can click file, "open from URL" and copy and paste the link in the space. It should open it in the media player. You can save it from here as an MP3. It worked for me.

Ok, I don't think that's not possible for the file extension to change. Here's what's happening: Quicktime is your default MP3 player so they are actually MP3's. Am I right?

I've made sure the page displays correctly in every browser type, so, unless you're using a really old version of IE it should be fine.

Perhaps try on either another PC or using a different browser such as Firefox. It might just be an odd combination of software on your PC which is hiding the layer with the a cappellas on it.

Ah. The page requires JavaScript as of the last update to be viewed correctly. That shouldn't really matter though if you're using a modern browser and you haven't disabled it in any way.

Props to minton for bringing this to us. I think this is such a cool thing...I get excited all week wondering which one is going to drop on Friday. The a cappellas are great to DJ with. The site has always been criticised in the past for being sparse etc, but this more than makes up for that. For me anyway.

I am aware they are samples. That's why I said sampled chorus. I'm sure the Beasties have the capabilities to have included those sampled choruses along with their acapella vocals; I agree it would have been cool to have them included, but it's just disappointing that they chose not to do so. :(

The reason why some of the tracks have the samples removed from the a cappella files relates to clearance clearance issues etc., just so you know.

That's correct. We don't offer any uploading facilities here. You have to upload elsewhere and then link to it.

The only thing we're giving clearance to use are the a cappella tracks we're offering. Anything you use in your remix beyond the a cappellas we provide is used at your own risk.

alright, cool cool. I played the original on my stereo and tried to match it with a metronome. It's somewhere between 89 and 90 bpms. Maybe 89.75? I did this by ear though.

yep, basically i figured out quickly it wasnt fitting with 100, and i checked my Hello Nasty instrumental record and I have that one marked at 103, but this one fits perfect at 101.... the different chorus is almost a completely different song. Sick choice though...
