191 songs

I just counted all the Beastie Boys songs listed at http://www.beastiemania.com/lyrics/?t=s and I came up with 191. That's not including some covers and demos etc. that weren't listed. Very proud to say I have all of them (in one form or another).
I want to know if anyone could think of a band that created this many tracks because i sure can't.
Imagine that boxed set!!! :eek:

Elvis Presly, The Beatles, Aerosmith, LL Cool J, and I am sure there are plenty more. I was just naming a the few that are at the top of my head at the moment.

We're missing the song Nothing to Say which appeared on Music for our Mother Ocean vol 3...but that is in the works....

frank zappa....bob dylan.....191 songs really isnt THAT many, most bands have about 20 songs AT LEAST written per record, not including covers or whatever they do for various comps or something.... i think 191 is a super small number for a band that has been around for more than 20 years....think about that..... 9 songs a year? thats not much at all.

but if you are talking QUALITY over QUANTITY...no doubt the beastie boys easily have that award hands down. (y)

2pac, Ice Cube, Dr Dre, Outkast, Master P, Too Short. I could keep on going with others but I think you can get my drift.


I am not claiming that all these bands are good or anything, but they easily have over 200 songs out.
