granted, i don't have chips that often, but when i do they always seem to be some crazy flavor, most of which comes off on powder all over your hands when you try to eat them

what happened to having just plain boring chips?

I worked for Frito Lay for over 10 years. If you look at frito lay
Inc line of chips its like 70% corn IE: frito, cheetos, Tostitos.
My route was in the Hood I sold more Hot Cheetos then anything else.
Chip flavors would be dropped then come back a few years later. Baked Lays taste like the box they come in. Then thiers the Wow chips that give you the shits.
Before I started I hadnt even tried BBQ chips , within a year I would bust a bag of something every day. I was too hard not to beeing in that truck with all that to choose.
Once they started carring Beef Jerky it was all over.
I just ate a 99 cent bag of Muncho today.
as for my fav. Would be Lime & Chilli Tostitos (old school ones not the new Hint of Lime Tostito)
