Yeah, that's right. I don't really care if people say it's underpowered or it only has little kid games or whatever... I like the damn thing.
I got it on sale at the store I work at for an astounding $60, plus I get 10%. I bought some game that has all the Sonic the Hedgehog cames with out and a few groceries... all together my total was $85. Not a bad deal at all, folks.
Anyone know of any other fun games for Gamecube? I was thinking about picking up Mario Sunshine but I don't know if it'll compare to Mario 64 on the fun scale. Maybe... we'll see after I rent it or something.

It has sonic adventure 2 doesn't it? Did it have 1 as well...?
If you are into freaky games try killer7. Weird but a unique gaming experience in my opinion.
I got a gamecube when I was in Italy, my cousin had three :D

I can't get used to any controller but a playstation controller. Playstation has gotten me through many a restless day and night, I says. I love that machine. Love it hard.

Nah, the Sonic collection doesn't have any of the Sonic games higher than 16-bit.
I was given an XBox last weekend for my birthday and the first game I bought for it was the Sonic collection. Pretty funny, no?

In terms of power, the GameCube ain't too shabby. When you compare the specs of the PS2, Xbox, and GCN, the 'Cube is right in the middle. It's definately more powerful than the PS2, but the Xbox has slightly more horsepower. But the 'Cube can pull off a few graphical effects better than the Xbox (i.e. textures).
Games.....if you were stranded on a desert island and only allowed to pick 3, take The Legend Of Zelda: Wind Waker, Super Mario Sunshine, and Metroid Prime. There are loads of other quality titles, but those are not to be missed.
Congrats on your purchase, the GCN is a damn fine little machine.
