There's permanent rumours of a new record, but I think they're long gone.

I met their sound-guy a few times. He worked for Beth at that point, there was no more Portishead.

Prince Paul uses that guitar at the start of 'Mysterons' on 'Steady Slobbin' I believe.

My favourite: 'Strangers'.

I fell in love with the girl who introduced me to Portishead....

She fucked me over though..

Its funny this thread was started because I wanted to start one too. I found a buried track on my hard drive and forgot how damn good Portishead was.

I dont really know this band but the name makes me think that I like them from a distant memory somewhere, sometime.

I knew they (she) were some kind of dope when I heard "Nobody loves me It's true Not like you do" in 94 but sadly enough haven't heard anything much that I know of since until...

Yeah, all wit is now gone. I think she realizes the shtick is just tired now, but that's the only way she gets attention.
