i saw interpol last night and i have to say, it was one of the best live shows ive seen. the light show was pretty snazzy too.

the crowd was pretty enthused as well. i was in the seated section and my sister and i were there singing along at the top of our voices [mine not particularly in tune].

we also saw carlos d spinning some tunes on friday night. he was having a bit of a boogie to the cure.

all in all, a very fun night :)

I liked them when they were called Joy Division and didn't sound like absolute shit.

I'm seeing them tonight. I'm going to request Love Will Tear Us Apart and see if they get cranky.

man, did that show suck...terrible sound, terrible venue. Interpol have the songs to put on a real good show, but they could do with a bit more energy on stage.
If they actually had played Love Will Tear Us Apart I would've given them higher marks for having a sense of humour about themselves. But of course they hate being compared to Joy Division.

The bass player is pretty cool though, he looks like a Gestapo Crispin Glover which is sweet.
