you feel society's pressuring more than ever. You know everybody is asleep and you should be too. Maybe because burglars and rapists are awake, you don't want to be guilty by association.

In the past I've passed out in front of colleagues, from a lack of sleep.
They're talking about wedding plans, and how great their honey-moon will be, and I fall unconscious, head slamming back.

You'd feel pretty boring telling that story though.

I like to hear the beach while I try to get to sleep.

I sleep talk boldly, in a commanding tone.

i've been told all my life that i sleep with my eyes open!

You sleep with your eyes open!!! That's pretty freaky. :eek: I can't sleep unless it's completely dark and completely quiet because I have to concentrate on sleeping and it's never completely dark or quiet so I'm an insomniac which sucks yep. My mom says I always sleep walk to the bathroom and wash my face then go back to sleep, haha. I don't even remember.

^ that is so me! It has to be pitch black and silent for me to fall asleep. I hate crashing at peoples places just for this reason.

i have to have a fan on in order to sleep. the noise is so relaxing

Oh yeah? I think it's because when it gets dark and you can't see it makes your hearing more advance or something because when I went to my friends house, she had a clock in her room which I never knew about and I couldn't sleep AT ALL because that damn thing kept going TICK!!! I wanted to kill it!

i cant sleep unless its totally dark and its never totally dark cause i have a daughter thats a little afraid of the dark so i have to keep a nitelite on so i'm an insomniac also! it sucks. but the sleeping with my eyes open thing is really freaky. when i was younger i had friends wake me up thinking i had died. and now being older i always warn people that stay at my house. ya know cause i would freak out if i saw that.

once in a while i sleep walk, and alot of times ive woken up in the middle of the room/house doing something in the middle of the nite. like once i woke up on my tiptoes trying to get something down from a top shelf, or another time i woke up ducked on the floor "looking" for something under my bed. and then i just wake up, am very puzzled for a couple of seconds and go back to sleep.

Yeah, you see though when I'm sleep walking I'll hallucinate. I'll see like a giant carebare in the corner with a jason mask on holding a chainsaw and coming after me then it'll dissapear when I see a midget with red eyes under my bed. My mom said she saw me run from in the living room and jump in my bed from like 5 feet away cuz I didn't want the midget to pull me under. I go to bed around 4 because the computer makes me sleepy, I have to go to school soon so I better get up earlier now. :( :( :(

That's actually pretty cool when that happens. I've woken up mid-way through sex before. It was with an ex who became a really close friend. Then we argued about in initiated the contact. If it was me I sure don't recall. I also need to have it pitch black. I used to have to put black electric tape over my VCR light and smoke detector.
