we did this in college now and then, we'd have a movie marathon that started at like 11, ended sometime past midnight, and we'd be drinking the whole time. the ones i remember (12 hours of drinking is a lot, ok?) are

star wars (self explanatory...just the 3 real ones though)

arnold schwartzenegger movies (again, pretty self explanatory)

superhero movies (the recent marvel comics ones mostly, but we also watched that silly batman one, where he punches a shark)

i think there may have been more but i dont know how my liver survived them.

oh, and is red dawn really sci fi? that's a movie we all love (mostly for swayze...say it with me: swaaaayzee...you're getting it), but i dunno...i see the fi, but where's the sci?

Eithere way, "Sin City" comes out on DVD August 16th. Yay! :)

Young/Old Relationship Movies
Ghost World
My First Mister
Harold and Maude
Welcome to the Dollhouse

They all have a similar concept, but the stories are quite different and neither is a clone of the other, IMO. Old doesn't necessarily mean 80, but just older for the young person. I haven't seen much of these films, so add any if you like.

Also Leon and Lost in Translation and How Stella Got her Groove Back (I know you love that last one)

Why Welcome to the Dollhouse? She had a crush on an older boy but there was no relationship.
