apparenlty he showed up like an hour ago for taping....
MTV studios require EVERYONE to go through a metal detector...no matter who you are.

then he said "i won't be appearing on camera today then....i'm going back to the studio" and him and his entourage just turned around and walked out.

Go was co-written by John fucking Mayer. I mean, come on. I don't understand how Be is considered an "instant classic" by people. It's pleasant enough I guess, but a classic? of any kind? no.
