my voice keeps cracking and i've started reading comic books. ever since i saw sin city, and i read the comics (which are pretty amazing on their own, but in tandem with the movie, it's remarkable), and i saw this thing on the history channel about comic books, i've been interested. I've only bought 1 so far, it's actually a graphic novel, but it's called "the watchmen", and it explores the darker side of super-heroes...like basically, how most superheroes are just fascist vigilantes, and the ordinary citizen fears and resents them, or something like that, i'm not very far into it, but i'm really impressed. comics seem to have grown up

i wish i could draw, because i've got a great idea for a satire based on daredevil. daredevil's schtick is that he's a defense attorney by day, and a superhero by night. and he's blind, but that's not important. my daredevil is basically the same thing, only he's a public defender (no offense meant to PD's, i respect the work they do, and i'm not just saying that because there is one on this board and i'm afraid of being sued or anything), so he doesn't get to be as choosy in terms of picking his clients. So basically he beats up criminals by night, and defends them in court by day. I could write maybe one issue and then i'd run out of ideas, but i think it's a good premise.

i can't think in a straight line these days, i'm just all over the place, sorry everyone.

you are indeed maturing backwards.

But it's okay. And you don't need to draw to make a comic. Have your story, and hire an artist.

I read The Watchmen about 6 years ago. I pretty sure I liked it.

Bob, I would recomend copyrighting the story and sending it off to marvel. Hell even Kevin Smith who has written on the title before. They could help you refine the story and you never know. A new career could be looming nearby...

My friend matured backwards. Not so much the hobbies, as it was acting like she was 15.
