someone gave me a link to the coolest online video and thought I would share. its a web video and when you go to the webpage it reads your ip address to figure out what city you're in and what time it is there and then connects to the weather network to find out the temperature. all of these factors effect the look of the video.

if you have a slow connection speed, then watch the static video but if your connection speed is fast, then I would definitely suggest watching the dynamic video that will be specific to you and your location (this will take a couple minutes to load):

What did everyone elses video look like? Mine had a redish-orange background and a few white puffs floating around like snow.

mine was gray and black with rain (becasue it's raining in my area), also a few old pictures from the 50's mixed in.

the video will change depending on the weather patterns in your area. if you go back in an hour, it might be a little diffferent...if you go back in 6 months it would be completely different.

The idea is to get the surroundings of the viewer involved in the video. We want to create new synergies between the music, the video and the surroundings of the viewer. Every little change results in a new video. You'll never see the same exact video. It slightly changes within an hour, but probably has a whole new character in six month."

Oh man, I should try watching it again during one of those crazy storms we've been getting here. The sky constantly flashes from lightning, but theres no thunder. It serioiusly looks like a strobe light in the sky. Then it starts raining buckets and the streets start flooding. It's pretty insane. :D I'm sure the video will be quite interesting.
