This has been said, but De La are an amazing group. I can't stop listening to Breakadawn. I love Dave's flow on it, as he builds up to the chorus. Real quality hip-hop.

And He Comes and Rock Co Kain Flow off the Grind Date are among the best of '04.

breakadawn's amazing, you should try the Foncett UK remix of it, it's awesome as well. and i still say rock co kain flow is the best hip hop song of 04... right on man (y)

Flava Flav's alright, his song with De La is good, not great.

The flav song is my favorite on that album...probably cause I totally am down with the lyrics.

Flav hasn't changed shit since 88, just like De La.

In the context of Public Enemy, he is an excellent foil to Chuck D. That goofiness in-between Chuck D's lyrical assaults are refreshing.

But if there's anything with Flava Flav alone... it'd get old quick.
