I've noticed that on this here board there are some unstable people.
I thought it might be interesting to hear if anybody has been stalked by other members, maybe we could start a little board stalkers awareness club to help the victims.

i'm always finding auton outside our window hiding behind some bushes, regardless of what time of day or night it is. he always smells of cotton candy and rum :(

I had a guy on here call my work number, which I never had given out. He knew what company I worked for, called around to the different offices until he found me and started to "chat". Later, he mailed me a card telling me of his "feelings" for me... He mailed it to my work address, which he had also gotten off the internet. The only problem was that the physical address was not the mailing address (we only received mail at p.o. boxes), so the card got returned to him and his pregnant wife received it, read it and they had some problems afterward... they are still married

There are certain threads that draw me in and others that do nothing for me.
I often see the same groups of people in the threads that I read and
wonder if they think I'm following them.
I was stalked in real life a few years ago. It was a scary time and he
did reach into online stuff and peek around but he wasn't savvy so
that wasn't a bad threat. What was weird was getting followed and
having him sit outside my house at midnight and having him steal
personal objects of mine and doing things with them.
That was weird.
(Plus, it was weird that everything I liked, he started to like.
I felt like he was stealing me away from me. Hard to explain.)
The clincher for me was when he started reaching into my kid's
life and when he threatened a male friend of mine to leave me
alone--stalker had a black belt in karate so his threats were heavy.
When it got out of hand, it eventually got resolved with some help
from friends and people at work.

I called the cops once on a peeping Tom. I caught him looking in my bedroom window when I got out of the shower. Cops came, arrested him. Turns out he lived in my neighborhood and was married. Scared the shit out of me to walk out of my bathroom and find someone looking in my bedroom window :eek:

No but really, this is a true story. I'm sure you all know Adam Yauch right? Well one night while I was sleeping, I heard a big crash outside my window and I woke up all like "what the fuck?" and my heart was beating. Then all of a sudden my window opened and he jumped through it with a ninja suit on but I didn't know it was him yet. So I got up and ran to my bathroom and locked the door and he was banging on it saying "let me in I just wanted to give you my autograph." and I'm just like "no" and he's just like "yeah" and I'm just like "ok" then he gave me his autograph and left. And that was the end. The end. :rolleyes:
