the most memorable cereal box toy i ever got was a tony the tiger floaty toy that came in a box of 'frosted flakes' sometime in the 80s. You'd fill up a 1 liter bottle, put the toy in and put the cap on. the toy would float at the top and sink when you squeezed the bottle... barrels o' fun.

That and the little capsule things that you'd drop in water to make them grow to these big sponges.

I'm collecting the Cocao Krispies Disney Wobblies. I have 3....I only need 47 more to complete the set. I've been at it for a month. Great hobby. (y)
