let's say you live a pretty healthy lifestyle, and eat very well.

there are still SOME foods to which you just can't say no, even though you know they're so bad for you. but they're just so good...

list them here. go on, admit it.

me:

instant mashed potatoes (they're so easy!)
french fries
coke/root beer (very occasionally)
black tea (i'm not very good with caffeine, but god do i love earl grey)
fried zuchinni from Carl's Jr.
Del Taco burritos/fries
sea salt and vinegar kettle chips - i can down half a bag
large amounts of vegan cheese

i know, being vegan means i have less of an opportunity to eat junk food. but you get the idea. go for it!

Milkshakes, I love milkshakes.

The Claimjumper chain has an awesome milkshake for $4.95....as far as a national best. But locally here in Seattle there are half a dozen excellent local hops to get a fine milkshake.

The best is the espresso milkshake at B&O espresso here in town. It's the double edged sword, if the caffeine don't get you, the sugar will.

Once when still living at a friend's flat I'd been to the market and bought zuccini, corncobs, cucumber and bananas. "You're planning to have a good night" my friend said....

my manager at my store confided in me that whenever he saw a single woman buying a cucumber/zuchinni, he laughed a Beavis-ish chuckle to himself.

on the milkshake tip: I LOVE real chocolate milkshakes. And I say real because so many places now just make a vanilla one and throw in a bit of chocolate syrup. That is NOT a chocolate milshake  you gotta use real chocolate ice cream for that ish, man!

I found a place that makes great ones, but they are in LA. The only place in San Diego that I know of is a place I used to work for, and quit. So I can't go back in there :o

More to add:
Mexican food, period.

adam_f

I bet in Mexico, Mexican food is just called food.

And yes, I did rip that joke off from Chandler. Back off.

I was about to post aboutthis before I read your post. I know in America Baskin and Robbins has become a rather crappy chain store, but here theres only a few, and one in particular makes the best triple shakes! Like seriously a meal in a milkshake. The Praline one is so fucken awesome (y)

--cheese and jalapeno pizza from pizza hut

--banana peppers. (are those even a guilty pleasure? i don't know if they're good for you or not. then again, even if they are, the huge amounts that i eat can't be healthy for anyone.)
