I agree. I never heard anything like them before. The Leanover in particular is a pretty damn good song.

After reading the thread title, for a second I thought this album was going to be discussed: More Songs About Buildings & Food. (http://www.cduniverse.com/productinfo.asp?pid=1099360&style=music&cart=263515274) You'll probably recognise the track "Take Me To The River". And this is (another!!) group I've been wanting to try out.
Another song y'all might recognise :) was done by two of this band's members--calling themselves The Tom Tom Club (http://www.tomtomclub.net/)--is "Genius Of Love".
A very talented group!
Sorry about the threadcrap but if you don't HAVE to listen to the latest thing, there is a huge/gigantic amount of quality music out there to listen to. Humans really haven't changed that much in the last few decades so what people wrote about back then is little--if any--different than now. and if you own a turntable you can buy this stuff at resale shops for usally around a dollar, maybe two (vinyl can be easily transferred to CD-R).
