I have to go to Dallas for a week for work. Whats to do down there?. Thanks

Deep Ellum is kinda downtown. Its the "hip" place to be on Friday/Saturday nights. All sorts of live music, nightclubs, and stuff can be found there. Quieter things to do include the DMA (http://www.dallasmuseumofart.org/stellent/idcplg?IdcService=SS_GET_PAGE&nodeId=212), (Dallas Museum of Art), they're open til midnight on Friday nights. There's all kinds of other stuff to do. It just depends on what you're interested in.

Will you be staying in Dallas proper or a nearby city?

If your company is buying, you should eat at the top of Reunion Tower, otherwise known as the great golf ball in the sky. The name of the joint up there is Antares. They have a dress code, but the food is awesome and the view can't be beat.
