Rex really isn't bad (needs more time)....you just need more talent in you WR corp...and need gamebreaker RB....when is Benson gonna step up?
and what was up with Tillman? how many times can guy fall down....jesus...

for the same reason i hate the bears...
BORING AS FUCK!
TOO FUCKIN CONSERVATIVE!
don't get me wrong...i respect both defenses greatly...
but those offenses...and the conservative gameplan....ugh....
run the ball....get a small lead....play big D....run the ball...keep away keep away....run the ball.....protect the lead.
i had to suffer through that with the Titans from 98-2001...so boring- till they finally let McNair open up the offense.
i was impressed with how the Steelers started out....throwing the ball big....but then they just went back to their conservative ways and almost lost the game.
let Ben throw!! keep scoring points!!

Tillman didn't fall down, Smith was using the Jedi 'Force Push' on him.
Rex threw no less than 5 very ill-advised passes yesterday. He's lucky he didn't have 3 picks. He was too amped up and over throwing guys by 5 yards. He played like a rookie. Cedric runs with thunder when he's not acting like a bitch. I really liked what I saw from Mark Bradley at WR, hopefully he's not the next Tyrone Calico.

a couple times i thought the steelers should have ran a play action and done some sort of short pass to pick up an easy first down. but other than that, i couldnt complain too much.
and nobody would have guessed bettis to ever fumble the ball, especially right at the goal line...

*sigh*
i was so big on Calico when he started...
granted, he blew his knees out..and that takes a while to recover from....
if he doesn't turn the corner next year....he's done.

Great games yesterday. The Steelers really outplayed the Colts, except for the 4th Q. Amazing game that once again proved Defense wins championships, and that things balance out in the end.
How that "football move" decison got made, I'll never understand, but those refs should be fined for being stupid.
Bettis was absolutely the right call in that situation. He either scores a TD on that play of they use up the Colts' TOs. The Bus hadn't fumbled since '03. Worst case, a FG puts them up by 6 and the D holds. C-R-A-Z-Y that he fumbled. And yes, the QB saved the game right there.
The Bears-Panthers game was interesting in that there was much more offense than anyone expected.
Should be another good game in Denver next week. Seattle should win handily, particularly if Alexander can come back.

Yeah, they really need to switch their style up NOW cuz, you know, they're just not getting it done with their current gameplan.
Plenty of room on the bandwagon, people. ALL ABOARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the colts are gonna romp over the stillers....ROMP!!

Is that all you got, Ben?
Stittsburgh can't deal with the offensive Juggernaut of the Colts, but they can make him discover the taste of turf.
Ol' Ben will have his femur snapped in 2 places and carried out on a stretcher before the end of the game.

does anyone know anything about the broncos.. I really havent seen much of them this year. They seem streeky to me (lose to miami but beat NE), But I do understand that they are a completly diferent team at home, (thats another thing I wonder about, the air, I mean the bus does have asthma).
And as for an update on the polamalu interception...The nfl released a statment today that it was in fact an interception....I could have told you that without watching a fuckin reaplay, what the hell was he looking at under that booth. The refs in the Steelers and Broncos game should be fired if not fined....

yeah, a sportscenter clip had joey porter talkin his trash. but at least he got the job done, and he better get on plummers ass all next week too.
but the broncos are pretty similar to the steelers. solid D, and an pffense that can get the job done. they have 2 solid running backs and a couple receivers who can beat you deep if you don't watch. i think if the steelers can ruffle up plummer, they can take it. but on that same hand, same goes with the broncos D and getting in big ben's face.

dude, you know DAMN well that, other than Steelers fans, NO ONE thought the Colts could lose....
NO ONE!
you picked the steelers based purely on your default fan support (understandable), Toucan picked the Colts based purely on his default fan support....while everyone else was annalyzing the game without bias (and looking at the earlier game this year) and was picking the Colts.
it was fair pick, you know it.
but now that it's been, WITHOUT A DOUBT, established that Manning just cannot win big games...
Manning and the Colts offense is much like Kurt Warner and the Rams offense of 99-2001: it runs on timing and finesse. without pressure....it cannot be stopped. but when you PHYSICALLY push either offense out of rhythm....neither Manning nor Warner are capable of Live Action adlib. under pressure....they get frustrated and can't perform, can't make decisions.
Manning can audible ALL day before the snap...but after the snap, if the action doesn't play out like he anticipated....he's fucked....totally fucked.
that's how you beat manning, disguise coverage/blitzes till after the snap.
The Pats, Chargers, and now Steelers all figured that out...now everyone else will too.

Yes, I root for the Steelers because I'm from Pittsburgh. You root for the Titans because you're a retard. Anyway, you can dance around it as long as you want, but when you boil it down, you were wrong and I was right. Of course I'm gonna think the Steelers are gonna win. Any Given Sunday, they say in the biz. So why don't you just shut the fuck up and quit padding your bullshit with more bullshit and admit it. YOU WERE WRONG. I WAS RIGHT. YOU'RE UGLY. No, of course not. But why the Titans? Uniforms? Players? A secret thing for Tennennesse ? ;)
i became a houston oilers fan in 90-91...due to Warren Moon and the run-n-shoot offense. it was exciting to watch...and Moon threw the tightest ball in the NFL.
i stuck with them after the salary purge...and the subsequent moving to Tennessee.

YOU SHOULD HEAR IT HERE (Pittsburgh). It is LOUD! People everywhere, yelling, screaming, putting off fireworks, beeping car horns, yelling into megaphones, hanging out of windows and the tops of cars.
The police have closed off some major streets and have given them over to the fans. NICE.
In the strip near me, which is close to a college town, there are bands of kids running around, dressed as Steelers, flocking to the beeping cars, surrounding them. This one bunch of 16-17-year old girls runs over to a beeping car and they're all like "WOO HOOO! GO STEELERS! WOOOOOO" And one of the girls bends down and looks in the car and her expression melts away and she goes "Oh my GOD! He's like FORTY!!" :D :D :D

Giants could have easily beat the colts but the giants secondary is one of the worse in the damn league. they cant cover anything and they ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS drop would be interceptions in every game.
Eli was set to continue his 4th quarter comebacks but the ref decides to call offensive pass interference that wasnt pass interference.
Now Tiki is good and Brandon Jacobs is as well but i'm sorry the colts defense is just plain horrible.
Eli is so damn inaccurate, he underthrows his receivers all the time. But, it evens out cuz the receivers drop mad passes from him.
Giants will still take the NFC East
RAMS- i think they'll continue to have lots of field goals. I just dont believe in Bulger.

who dug this mother up? we should start a new one...
Sorry to poop on everyone's party, but history tells us that every time Pittsburgh wins the Super Bowl, they double up. It can very easily be done again this year as well, which would make them the most dominant franchise since the merger. Especially since pretty much every "expert" opinion as to who would win it this year (Carolina/Dallas) got whooped and many consisent teams had to sweat out a win (New England/Seattle).
I'm liking Arizona and New Orleans, though. Reggie Bush is gonna be a monster.

I just watched the Raiders/Chargers game. Oakland was at home and had under 100 yards in total offense. Their offensive coordinator was running a bed and breakfast last year and has been out of coaching for 5 years.
I am a lifelong member of the Raider Nation and cannot bear to watch this inept team. Art Shell is no head coach. Hell, he was fired once as the Raiders coach.
I am lucky that I am a huge Ohio State Buckeye fan or my football season would be finished.
