Don't you live near a beach or something? Go to the pool. Or just pump the air conditioner. The thing about it being cold is no matter how hot the heater is, as soon as you go outside all your warmth is lost. That and having a cold for like 3 straight months :(

Both times I was in the snow it sucked. Once I was on a 9 day school camp and we were bushwalking through a snowfield in late spring/early summer, and it just turned into a blizzard. We had to huddle in an emergency rescue hut for a day until we could go again. The other time I was forced to go to tasmania on a "choir camp" and so we went to the top of mt wellington and there was like 3 square metres of snow. That was weak (n)

Yeah like 3 hours away...at falls creek (which was where I went on that school camp) and all those places. Or occasionally it snows on Mt Dandenong but thats a once in every ten years sorta thing.

Anyway the luckiest people are people who live in Byron Bay in Australia. The weather is almost always good, its got plenty of trees and forest, it has great beaches and a good nightlife and its in close proximity to the gold coast and brisbane and everything (y)

yep, because the whole area is mountainous, and the elevation increases. the city is also further inland.

So, I moved up here on Friday and I take back anything I ever said about it being hotter in Oklahoma. See, in Oklahoma, it gets to 105 degrees, but we have this little thing called AIR CONDITIONING! Here, it gets to about 90, but noone seems to have AIR CONDITIONING in their apartments/anywhere. Shits miserable.

I haven't experienced a winter up here yet...I'm scared. I'm used to a maximum of about 3 inches and then it all melts the next day. How fucked am I?

our snowstorms build up on one another. there will be snow built up from like 6 storms midway through the winter. then it will partially melt and refreeze as fuckn ice sheets. there will be mini glaciers everywhere
