Extremely cheap Beastie Boys albums.

Hey,
I walked into a UK record store today (FOPP) and saw every Beasties album for £5 :eek: . I have only ever seen them for £15 at the least.
If this has been a decision by the Beasties then thank you. Otherwise you are being ripped off B-boys.
They've got millions anyway, so I don't think they care.

1) The beastie boys don't dictate how much individual retailers charge for their albums.

2) The beastie boys sell their product to the record stores at a price that is much lower than the price you and I would pay for an album. The store then determines what they should sell it for to make a profit that is acceptable to them.

The beastie boys make no more or less if the album is sold to us for $20 or $2.

is that £5 for a cd or an actual record? their cd's sell from £5 where i live, i've never seen them sell for more then £12.

BB albums are usually really expensive here[£15+]. I seen that cheap albums too, they even had some old bullshit for cheap!!!
