Really, that asshole has something negative to say about pretty much everyone.
I wish someone would dig up some shit on him for a change.

Wow. How odd. Someone on the RIGHT saying "something negative about pretty much everyone." Sounds like most of the left-wing media about GW Bush and the majjority of the posters on these message boards.
Should all of us have some "shit dug up" on us? I'd hate to see the skeletons in everyone's closet here. Especially yours, emceefukit. Bet you're squeaky clean, right?

Of course not, but that's the point. O'reily acts like he's perfect or at least like he's above the people he complains about, when it was'nt that long ago that he had some lady trying to sue him for sexual harrasment.

Yeah, that's hilarious! And a huge segment of the American public actually believes that shit! HA HA HA!
A few major corporations control virtually everything we see and read. These are the folks who brought you the fawning coverage of the Iraq war complete with an imbed in every jeep, yet we don't see any real coverage of what we've done and are doing to civilians. Hmmm.

it really disappoints me that people only watch the mainstream news and read the mainstream papers to find out about current events.
if you take your political opinions seriously, you really ought to seek out alternative publications and other media.

what left-wing media?
Let's see : just about every blog out there.
Talk radio : Air America, just about all morning and afternoon drive-time shows, including Howard Stern
Network television : all three major outlets (CBS, NBC, ABC)
Cable television : CNN, MSNBC, Bravo
Newspapers : The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, The San Francisco Chronicle, The Salt Lake Tribune (believe it or not in the middle of one of the most conservative states in the country - go figure their tolerance, eh?) - just for starters.
OK - you're right, there's NO left-wing media.....please

I NEVER said they were biased - just left-wing. Read between the lines, if you like, but there is certainly a slant at the sources I mentioned, just as there is a slant when you watch Hannity or listen to Rush -r right wing all the way.
AND, I stated "just about" every blog out there. Your partial list does not undermine that point in the least. Do you want me to list the first 1000 liberal or communist or left-wing blogs I come across? Please.

Alright then, let's see, bias vs slant?
From dictionary.com...
Main Entry: slant
Part of Speech: verb 2
Definition: distort
Synonyms: aim, angle, bias, change, color, concentrate, direct, focus, influence, orient, point, prejudice, train, twist, warp, weight
And as for the blogs, I wouldn't mind a straight up comparison as to the numbers, if that were possible. And how interesting of you to conflate "liberal" and "left wing" with "communist".
I think you have become irate in the past when a poster tried to link conservatives to nazis so I'm perplexed.

do you think that democrat/liberal supporting views are "left-wing?"
hardly!
they're right wing as well. any party that supports capitalism is right-wing. use that as a guide.
don't be like gmsisko and go around calling people "liberals" and "left-wing," what are you, 80 years old?

I don't know where the fuck some of you live, but my morning and afternoon local drive time shows are all right wing and this is a liberal mecca.
I think it's hilarious that anyone thinks the major networks are liberal. Simply hilarious. They swallowed everything Bush said about Iraq hook line and sinker instead of doing any real reporting when it mattered. They glamorized the war, and rarely questioned any of the information they were given. Sure, now they'll do stories about public opinion polls, but it's too damn late and they're still not explaining anything in a way that people can understand it. I'm more infuriated by CNN than the idiots who called it Clinton News Network. But if you say it enough times, people will believe it and they will be even more cowed. That's the point, right?
P.S. Does Bravo even do news?

Wow. Common ground. Queer Eye would be great as the real newsmen. Put them with the Anchorman news team and we'd have a ratings war to end all ratings wars :
"So, Brick, what do you think of Kyan's hair?"
"I love hair." Blinks repeatedly.
i haven't listened to howard stern in years, but is he really left wing? i used to listen to him when i drove to high school in the morning, and it was around the 9/11 time, he would get in arguments with callers who were speaking against the afghanistan war, saying it's ok if we kill afghan babies in the long run, because they'll just grow up to be terrorists too, or something like that. then again alot of people were talking like that right after 9/11.
don't ask me for a source, i couldnt' possibly dig one up, i'm just going off foggy memories here. surely someone else must remember?

I don't/can't listen, but I understand that Stern started his anti-Bush thing because the FCC fined Stern for swearing. Purely personal/financial.

Anyway, on the subject of Howard Stern, I believe that he actually supported Bush in the 2000 election. It was only after his post Nipplegate FCC problems that he became a "lefty" even though I doubt he's really that far left. He just likes cussin' and midget tranny strippers.
I'm sorry, midget tranny S&M strippers.
