who saw the episode of futurama where the beastie boys were special guests? they played a concert and since its the future their heads were in jars. then bender whent to hell and the beastie boys scratched his hard drive

They should appear on the Simpsons!!! that would be great!, they do play Fight for your right! on an episode of the Simpsons! I think its when Ned Flanders is out in his back garden!!....hope'da'de-lopealy skip!!! or something like that....LOL.....LOL........LOL..... :D

I like Futurama. I've been trying to collect their DVD's, but I'm as poor as MC Hammer. So far I only have the first which contains that beastie boys episode.

Hey I am a huuuuuuge fan of Futurama! It's my all time favourite show. We have all four seasons on DVD including the episode Hell Is Other Robots which features the Beastie Boys. At their concert they perform Intergalactic and Super Disco Breakin'.

According to MTV News, Adam Yauch recorded vocal parts along with the other two Beastie Boys, but for the the final version of the episode that aired, he had no speaking part.

Leela: Impressive. They're busting mad rhymes with an 80% success rate.
Bender: I believe that qualifies as ill. At least from a technical standpoint.

I recently got the DVD's and on the commentary David Cohen (the David X. Cohen you see in the credits) says he's a huge fan and went to NY to meet up with them for the show but they didn't show up, and when they finally came down to LA to record for the show Yauch didn't show up so Adam H did his parts as well as his own.

And apparently the slow version of Sabotage was originally going to be FFYR but they refused to do it. It was kind of funny, Matt Groening was like "Hey David, isn't there a story behind this? Wasn't it going to be Fight For Your Right to Party?" and then he responded "Oh yeah, they didn't want to do it." all frankly and stuff. It might not sound too funny but they way they said it made all the other guys on the commentary burst out laughing.

im a big loser and i saw it for the first time last night.. and it was late like 3 am ish on cartoon network.. and i got out of my bed and started screaming.. i dont know why.. but i did.. i think the best part was when fry was like "man in 2000 i had all 5 of your albums" and mike d was like "that was 2000 years ago... we have 7 now." it was funny..

I've seen that episode a billion times... I even recorded it when it first aired on FOX in 1999...the tape is gettin' a little worn out.

I must admit it took me by surprise sunday night... I was doing homework and saw the madison cube garden opening and said, ok time to put pencils down... I'm now about to get an education in OLD, OLD, INCREDIBLY OLD SCHOOL BEATS :cool: (y) (y)

I heard that they really did the whole Main Theme. If you
listen to some songs of "Hello Nasty" you'll hear the same
sounds - e.g. "Song for the Man". But I really never found
out if it's just a rumour...
