It's mainly tories and people who feel a pride in making other people feel bad.

I've seen people nearly go insane with studying and the first words uttered when they get a good result from some is "oh, but their getting easier". Unable to consider that in 40 years that the UK has changed and not as many (% poulation wise) opt for A-Levels after leaving school. Also the fact that in 1960, the range of job opportunities wasn't there and not as hard to get the job you wanted so there is an extra incentive to work hard. The fact that we are all more intelligent anyway and tools of the trade has changed.

If it's hard for Uni's to find the right applicants, then why do I see shit loads of adverts on TV for a particular uni, trying to attract more applicants but they haven't got any spaces. Because it's all bullshit. I know more people pass but that is because more people aim to get it right first time.

So yeah, if you are one of them, fuck you on behalf of the UK youth who have worked hard to get the results they want.

And congratulations on those who are getting their results today, hope you get what you want and if you have a life plan, it accelerates today and if you don't have a plan, I hope everything starts to fall into place for you.

Ignore the fuckers who are jealous of your success, and if I come across one who says this, I'll kick them in the balls (for a man) or tits (for a woman) for you.

Yup!

I worked pretty hard and they were kind of poo. Just got them.

Hurrah resits!

Apart from Chaucer, I done great on them Canterbury Tales. My biology results is lower because there's an investigation going on because they suspected a pupil for cheating. They're dragging their feet a bit, another kink in the system.

My sister got an A in Biology. She is such a smart arse!

I thought it was pretty hard to cheat these days? Or is it easier with technology...

Sucks you have to wait though...

Yeah they there's this big investigation where we all had to do statements, but one girl was waggin it so because of her it didn't get sorted in time.

Your sister should be very proud! That's brilliant! Biology is so hard, did she by any chance take chemistry too? The chemistry boffs always come on top in my class.

Yeah, she got an A in chemistry to.

She did them all in one year (ie took extra classes to get them all out of the way) as she already has a degree with honours in something to do with Art what she did a few years ago. She is really proud, but she does have the brains of the family but is the most dizzy. I'd give my little fingers to have 10% of the intelligence she has.

She wants to become a doctor - she thinks she is not good enough but the A-levels she did before her degree, she was in the top 5% of the UK. So she is so now we have to convince her - or scare into thinking she'll work in retail the rest of her life.

She has a degree already ey?

Even those A levels before the degree count as UCAS points, with her biology and chemistry she's practically there becoming a doctor.

She has to take a year out before she can do a doctorate (or whatever it's called) because she couldn't apply until she got her results cus her lectures where arseholes and said she be lucky if she for a pass grade, cus she stopped turning up but learnt it anyway cus her lectures where arseholes. So that is a six year thing I think with one of those years as work experience. She doesn't want to become a GP but in research. Also adds a complication because she is classed as permenatly ill (I'm not gonna say what she has) so she has to have tests and stuff cus they can be funny about that stuff so that adds six months onto applying. But it's already been confirmed she'll be alright, just they HAVE to do these things. She said Newcastle Uni do a fast track which is 4 years I think, again super-cramming style - so you end up doing six years in four. Something like that.

I asked her if she'd perscribe me so crazy drugs to get me high on the NHS. Kinda ignored that request - damn.

Dr. Garretty sounds good to me. It's just a matter of the convincing cus it's hard to make her believe in her own ability sometimes.

As you can read - I'm crazy proud of my sister and proud I'm related to her to :)

A-Levels are fucking rock hard. I've taken exams up to Masters level, and I still consider my A-Level History the hardest thing I've ever done.
