Hear me, hear me! Stop eating Popplers! Stop eating them with honey mustard sauce...stop eating them with tangy sweet and sour sauce. Stop eating the new fiesta Poppler salad. Stop taking advantage of the money-saving 12-pack. Stop enjoying Popplers on the patio, in the car, or on the boat. Wherever good times are had!

Ow!

This one goes out to cosmo and lindsey :D

And just so this thread has some "content" - what are you favourite futurama moments?

I think my all time favourite is when they tell fry he is the most important person in the universe - "oh, snap" - that whole episode is all kinds of rad, but not quite as rad as...

the whole Fry vs. Devil Opera. That's gold (y) "But he probably won't want me dating her" "AAAARUGH!" "bravo. encore!" and "Stop! Take my hands! You evil.. metal... doooorrrrrrrrk!"

"Surgery in an opera? How wonderfully decadent, and just as I was
beginning to lose interest. The chocolate icing! ooohoohoo"

SO yesterday I decided I’m pretty much obsessed with this show cause I went out and bought another one of the comic books just so I can see some new futurama.
The books are good thoughs so I'd say buys em to all yous guys. :D

tracky

Hahaha that's cool (y) I was obsessed with it for a long time too. I still enjoy it, but I've kind of seen it so much that it's worn out. I did actually enjoy the few futurama comics I've read (just a couple single strips I saw somewhere), you gotta use your imagination a bit but there's nothing wrong with that. You know what. I might even buy one, now that you mention it, and I don't think i've ever actually bought a comic in my life. the glavenisation begins!

Anything with Zoidberg in it.
"Get away from my bait!"
"WUB WUB WUB WUB WUB"

And the episode with Beck
"And i'll come up with great songs with real words! Not fake ones like 'Odelay'"
"Hey Odelay is a real word just look it up in the Becktionary."

Here we are.

the episode where they visit the lost city of Atlanta is even more hilarious to me now because my boyfriend's from A-town. the parody of the south is toooo much. but my favorite part is when they're all sitting at the table and the professor (my favorite character after Zoidberg) yells, "I'M BORED, LET'S GO!" ohh, i love that.

and, of course, the penguin episode :D

i have the paper doll book of leela and amy

"It's just like the story of the grasshopper and the octopus. All year long, the grasshopper kept burying acorns for the winter, while the octopus mooched off his girlfriend and watched TV. But then the winter came, and the grasshopper died, and the octopus ate all his acorns. And also he got a racecar. Is any of this getting through to you?"

Why, oh, why does FOX cancel its most awesomest shows? I've been a Futurama fan since the very beginning.

I AM BENDER, PLEASE INSERT GIRDER.

Lindsey_1535

They might be making a stright to movie thingy.

"It seems that FOX has finally given the Futurama Direct-to-Video the green light. In the first of IGN's exclusive Video Blogs direct from San Diego's Comic-Con International, voice actor Billy West (Fry, Zoidberg, the Professor, and many more voices for many more shows) revealed to us that a brand-new direct-to-video Futurama movie has been greenlit. There is also an option on a second dvd.

Thanks to IGN for this exclusive information. The information has not yet been confirmed by Matt Groening or FOX itself, so let's just keep hoping"

tracky

Let's keep hoping indeed

They did a similar thing with family guy, maybe they're waiting to see how successful that is. Maybe I should actually buy the family guy movie in that case...
