his girlfriend bought him like 10 dvds. and popcorn.

i got him a history book but i dont know what else to get him. he's into bmx and... ummm.... his girlfriend.

he's very non-materialistic. unlike me, cause i love materials.

it's tomorrow (actually, today, since is already 8/20). grrrr... i dont knoooow.

got him an ipod last xmas. his music tastes are varied and he hates anything i'd pick out for him even though he'd buy it himself under other circumstances.

he doesnt fuckin like presents. but i know he'd be sad if i didnt get him something, cause he knows how much i like buying presents. this gets harder every year.

My dads the same way. The best thing to do is do something that says "if you dont want me to get you a present you can get one for yourself" ie a gift voucher.

It's not. You just need to be the complete opposite of creative.

Its not hard to buy me stuff because I make it clear to everyone what I want. I've given the hint to about 50 people how much I want a pool table, and how good an idea i think joint presents are ;)

Yeah, men suck to shop for. Wayne doesn't want DVDs, CDs, or any of that shit because he gets it for free online. And all the really cool stuff that he wants, he buys for himself anyways. So that leaves me with semi-cool things, or things he may have not noticed. And the semi-cool things are actually pretty lame gifts, so I have to go with what he hasn't noticed. Which equals pretty much nothing.

Although my best gift to him was a cane that had a fuckin' sword-knife thing built into the handle that you couldn't see until you unscrewed the top of the cane off. That's not practical either, but he likes concealed weaponry.

So in conclusion, go with the Indecision 2004 DVDs.

stuff I want:

food
weed/alcohol (depends who you are on that one..)

stuff I don't want:

a stupid little puzzle thing bought just for the sake of buying a present.
money. don't bother. if you don't know me then don't get me a present. that includes my family (!) my sister is the opposite to me. ie, church going primary school teacher. We have *nothing* in common except for our parents. We just don't know each other at all since about 10 years old where I went one way and she went the other, and tried to mother me a lot which kind of led me to dislike her, one mum is bad enough... I don't dislike her now, I can't. We're just different. Our conversations last about 1-2 minutes. Anywaay she ends up buying things for the sake of it, and I've layed down the law now, I don't want presents from anyone and I don't give presents to anyone, just for the sake of it. That's not to say I won't suprise my mum with a block of chocolate when I go round to the shops for some smokes. I think things like that are much better than having the present buying imposed on you by some arbitrary date.

Pool Table. No bloke doesn't want one (!)

Actually, the pool table's baby brother, a dart board, might come in your price range (lb)

The DVD version of RAD ( the bmx movie ) is available all over e-bay - so get him that. And try to find one that is 2 discs so that it includes the movie soundtrack. (y)
