If you were hiding in a toilet stall for a long time, and there was no toilet seat flap-cover-thing, would you disrobe your lower half to sit on the toilet?
Even with nothing to give?
This ought to sort the place out. (y)
my solution = i never shit in any place except my own toilet. unless im at a mate's house and desperately need to.

Not really the point of the question.

This is precisely why I never go anywhere without a pack of tissues and some wet wipes in my purse. Ever. Ever.

Scream 2 made me scared of bathroom stalls. I doubt a knife could go through one, but Omar Epps made is seem possible.

ok, so you're saying "if you hid in a toilet cubicle, would you half-pretend to do your business?"
why are you hiding in the first place?
sheesh

You beat me to it. But that's exactly what I was going to ask. Why would you be hiding in a toilet stall?

I would not lower my pants. I would rest my shoe-d feet on the sides of the rim and sit on the back of the toilet.
Ive done this. Last half-hour of work, I don't want to do anything, so I hide out in the stall. the trick is to place a fairly thick covering of paper on the seat. take down your pants, but NOT the undies. boxers work best.
unless by "toilet seat flap-cover-thing", you mean the actual seat itself, and not the paper seat protector.

If I hadn't quoted you, nobody would have acknowledged this. (y)

Isn't the toilet's design brilliance in the fact that it stimulates 'action'?
You could be hiding from whatever. This is a character question, and the replies thus far are very telling.
Anybody with a decent knowledege of teh interweb could find this line of enquiry.
OH! i finally get the thread topic...
