It wasn't horrendously far but it seems a lot worse when your arms and legs are your only source of power. Probably a mile across, so 2 miles round trip.

i wouldnt do that on a lilo because that lake is notorous for great white sharks, and giant octopus

What ever possessed you to do that? They were not meant for that sort of thing! You're supposed to lay in the sun with a drink in your hand on one of those!
But seriously, anything in water sounds like a whole bunch of fun. I would really like to go tubing yet this summer.

I went with my friend John. We were just floating around in this private cove and we started floating out. We were like "Hey, wanna go over to the other side so we can say we touched Arizona?" And so we started paddling. A lot. Then we'd slide off and start kicking. Then we'd get back on a paddle again. Then John would shreak because there was a ski boat coming. When we finally got to the other side we were all disoriented and John tried standing up but was a little wobbly. He said, "It's like the ground is slanted!" I said, "Honey, you're standing on a hill." The way back took soooo much longer, I swear. My arms have never been so fatigued. Honestly, I probably could have done it a lot faster without the damn $1.50 raft thingy.
It was fun. :)
