i've got a tripod for work that the camera is almost permanently attached too. i will admit i did 2 takes, but the first one i did hold the camera and i didn't like it

you could try syncing but i don't fancy your chances and it would take too long anyway. just do a synch and hold up the cue card rather than read it ;)

the single-mom thing. When I was a single mom, it was hard to find
time to do everything related to school and work. I won't even talk
about the money aspect of it. Fortunately, his dad contributed to
his kid's education for the first several years or we wouldn't have
made it. I don't know how single parents manage things time-wise
with more than one kid without the kids paying for it in the long run.

I thank God I had flexibility in my job so that I could work weird hours
(when my kid was sleeping) and then spend his waking hours with him.

The videos can be made heaps smaller if you encode them to divx, and if we could find a torrent tracker we could host them as torrents. BUT i think that's all getting a bit technical for some people so this is working ok so far. I've got hosting, if you have a file under 10mb PM me.

It's interesting, more times than not, I'm told I sound all "American" and junk. When the odd occasion comes that people say I sound "Canadian" (which has only been a few times), I'm taken aback.

Hell, when I'm a tourist in the States, nobody has thought I'm a Canadian until I tell them.

When I hear Cosmo, for example, I don't think of her voice as being different from most Canadians. I usually have regarded my voice in this manner compared to most Americans (and through experience, have had this confirmed).

Bitchamachacha, on the other hand, certainly has that Southern accent going down (but I find it only slightly, not strong like in "Dukes of Hazzard" or something ;) ).

The reason I ask (besides out of curiousity) is that when I think of a "Canadian" accent, I think of the Bob & Doug McKenzie thing. I've heard that for some people, and to me, they always come off sounding unintelligent (even if they are very smart). I just hope I don't sound like THAT. I wanna sound smart. :o

P.S. - I actually can't hear a difference between the American "about" or the Canadian "about."
