The beasties will be on this show called heat meter on canada's much more music station. The show airs at 8:00 tonight.

the show takes two groups and squares them off against each other, tonights episode is beasties vs. chilli peppers

well the show as expected was FUCKING retarded!

but that’s how all the chum/much more music/much music shows are.

the people who put the show together obviously don’t know a lot about the beasties

in one video they showed Ricky Powel talking to the crowd and they labeled him adrock,

they said the chilli peppers were more for gay rights and other political issues when we all know beastie boys cover all that shit and more

in this stupid segment about the bands bodies they mentioned how chilli peppers have lots of tattoos and how beasties would cringe at the sight of a needle, (implying that the beasties have no ink)

they also said that the chilli peppers have been in more legal battles then the beasties, when the beasties are in the court every time they drop and album

the talked about how right right now now, video showed how beasties had love for New York (not mentioning open letter to nyc)

overall the show left out a lot of facts, and was stupid

the show will also give the wrong impression about the beasties

The show was alright but it left alot out for both parties especially the "Beastie Boys" most "MuchMoreMuch/MuchMusic/Star" shows are stupid and alot of the facts are left out or are incorrect, personally i love both of these groups, but anyways the "Beastie Boys" were winning but lost because "The Red Hot Chili Peppers" are "Fit" and the "Beastie Boys" have "Farmer Tans" and "Chicken Legs"?

Yeah I noticed a lot of mistakes too, but whatever. I didn't expect much, on that same channel someone talked about Ill Communication as if it was their first album since Paul's Boutique... despite the fact that So What'cha Want (off of CYH) is one of their biggest hits.
