They were killed outside the town in Louisiana that I grew up in. The REAL Bonnie and Clyde, I mean.

They did NOT die in Arcadia like all the shows say they did.

That's a typical way to relax in the office before the big meeting.

EDIT: I always say that because of Harper's Bazaar magazine. One time I was riding in the car with my mom, I was flipping through a ridiculously hilarious Harper's Bazaar magazine fashion spread that was designed like a day in the life of a busy working mother.

6:15 Playing in bed with Sophie
and the model is in fluffy white bed in a tank top, holding a girl she must have given birth to when she was 13.

Then 7:30 AM Clearing my head before the day really gets going
with a picture of the model in gym clothes. My mother laughing that the day hasn't gotten going by 7:30.

Then 8:45 A quick call to the office
with a picture of the model in the locker room finally dressed for work and my mother incredulous "she's not at the office yet?!"

Then the best one of all 10:25 Relaxing in my office before the big meeting with a picture of the model in skimpy attire on a leather lounger with her feet demurely crossed and propped up on an empty desk.

The spread went through the rest of the day with such hectic working mother activities as an acupuncture appointment, lunch with the daughter, a dash to the new loft to meet with the designers, dinner downtown and drinks at a jazz club.

I wonder how much of these fashion spreads are tongue-in-cheek considering the women who put this magazine together must at least on occasion be busy working mothers themselves.

I had cause to look through a magazine like that recently and wondered
the same thing--is this for real? It was a Vogue issue or something close
to it and they had a spread for dressing for your 20s, 30s, 40s, and 50s.
I guess women stop wearing clothes in their 60s. One outfit in that spread
would probably have cost >$2k. It's like the women in Sex and the City,
you'd have to make a mil a year to be able to afford to dress like that each
day. Are they serious.

the people that take fashion tips from vogue either a)do make enough money for it,or b) take it as a template for making their clothes with that flair.

vogue is really only made for the fashion industry and the elite. but it's mass marketed. so... yea.

I think they enjoy indulging in the fantasy life and going to extremes to be entertaining and don't take it seriously - like the stupid advice they always give "don't be afraid to try a shocking new look like a racy slipdress paired with a cardigan for day or a slash of hot pink on your lips"

Do you think it's only made for the fashion industry and the elite - or is it made to perpetuate what the average person thinks, or wants to think, the fashion elite world is like?

Because of Scarlet Johansen?

Scarlett Johannsen is overrated to the summit of overrateability.

That being said, she has big boobies.

i did an internship @ a magazine company. a lot of those writers BELIEVE that shit that you think might be tongue in cheek

and yes, vogue, in particular, is made for the industry. it's a mass marketed WWD. it's written for the socialites and the type.

egh.

adamf has a cosmo subscription cause he wants the tips on how to better please his man. he told me so.

She really does. How did she get such big boobies without the rest of her getting big? I hope she doesn't get skinny suddenly like formerly busty Lindsey Lohan. Poor child. She had honeydew on her chest and then let it all deflate, now she may never get it back again.

Unless she works on it, she'll probably get bigger later on in life.
I see that happening lots--girls who are big on top but thin otherwise
often get hefty later on (like in their 30s and at my age).

Whew...then I'm good to go....seeing as how I've NEVER had any boobies (n) (except when I was nursing but that doesn't count)

I actually posted that then edited it because I thought it could be taken out of context.
