I have a cat already (a domestic shorthair) but I've always wanted a sphynx -
a lot of people think they're ugly but I think they're sooooo adorable.
my second choice would be a Cornish Rex.
So my question is - who has a baldy cat and what are they like?
How much do they cost?
Post a pic of your pet Sphynx or Cornish Rex if you have one.

My one friend once asked me how PETA doesn't get on everyone's cases about owning hairless cats, because shaving cats is cruel.
I also heard it doesn't matter if they're hairless if you have allergies, because it's not the fur that they're allergic to, it's the chemicals in the cat's tongue that he would use to groom himself. So if he still groomed himself, he'd still have the chemical all over himself.
Anywho, I prefer furry (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v131/QueenAdrock1/pets/nikki.jpg) kitties. I also have a domestic shorthair (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v131/QueenAdrock1/pets/cassie.jpg).

I'm sorry, but those cats look like wrinkled ball sacks.

Yeah, I was just thinking of how it was my gay friend who said that, and I should have known that he wouldn't know much about pussy, anyways.

they're just like regular cats except they don't shed. duh. they don't have inferiority complexes or kitty AIDS or anything.

I know but - I wondered if what I read about them was true ....
"The Sphynx are extremely inquisitive and love to be the center of attention. They perform silly antics for your entertainment and are sometimes downright clumsy…on purpose it seems. They make great show cats because of this "look at me" attitude. They prefer human attention but enjoy the company of dogs and other cats. They have an abundance of energy and mischief and are always with you, on you or showing off for you."

You know there's such a thing as Cat HIV? It's called FIV (F for Feline). We had a cat that lived in our bushes and was scared of us, until we gave him tuna, a heating pad, and a small house to live in during winter. He even let us take him to the vet to see if he was okay, because he developed a runny nose and a sneeze. They said he had FIV. Though cats can't get it through cat orgys or anything, it's solely through the blood; he probably got in a fight. He was a good kitty, I called him Marvin. Starvin' Marvin, cuz he was really skinny when he adopted us.
We had to put him to sleep about a year later, once his FIV started acting up really bad and we could see he was in pain. But he was a real good cat till then. Just asked for a belly rub every once in a while, and purred and purred and then ate tuna and fell asleep.
Le sigh.

Yeah my cat was just tested for that and feline leukemia as part of her medical check up.
fortunately, she tested negative for both.
