Someone posted about a memo that they got when they got
back from lunch and it explained the fact that the person
was switching genders. Was that kll?

I remember responding to that because a very similar thing happened at
my work. Except at my work, it was announced at a meeting and it was
awkward to say the least. No one knew where to look while it was being
explained.

Then company-wide emails announcing the change.
