Tonight, at a local brewery called Summit Station. They have $2 rails, and I feel like getting sloppy off of whiskey-n-coke's (my new favorite).

I don't have a designated driver though. :(

I've never heard drinks refered to as rails. to me what you said there would mean they got $2 lines of coke (the powdery nose candy not the beverage)

bars out here usually have what they call "well" drinks..which is all the cheep liquors. and then there's shots or shooters.

i live a block away from mad mex and their half off of their strong margarita's from 11-1 and then another block down the road the place has dollar drafts every night.

Yeah, it's cheap liquor. Rails. I thought they were shots that came in test tubes like in that one movie with Sandra Bullock. But it's just regular drinks with cheap liquor. Go figure.

So I went to Happy Hour and they had $3 rails, not $2. :mad: So $4 with tip. But then this guy (who was married, his wife was next to him) came over to my table with a riddle, and asked us to solve it:

RED NUTS AND GIN

I got it right, went over and triumphantly slapped down the piece of paper with the answer on it, and the guy gave me a high five, and a free whiskey and coke. Which was really strong, because he's friends with the bartender.

So, one semi-strong whiskey 'n coke, and one really strong one. I got pretty plastered, and then called Scary Squirrel, who ended up talking to my friend Katie (http://i03-8.thefacebook.com/pics/3/3/s5713378_4070.jpg), who's Alpha Sigma Tau, which supposedly is really tight with Adam's fraternity up in Michigan.

I don't really remember talking to Adam. :o

i get imported beer though, so i dont save much money. its always the american beer thats like $1.

I found out I like lighter beers. Not light like Bud or Miller, but like Corona. I can't do dark beers because they's nasty.

i didn't like real beer until i drank microbrews in canada.

and now i dont like anything lighter than a beautiful autumn leaf.
