Hah! Yeah I was reading and I had a carton of juice in my hand whilst reading and my friend was like "are you even going to drink that?"

Then he flicked the spine of my book and when I didn't budge as it almost hit my face they heard me snore a bit. :o

it is, apparently I used to do it all the time, and have done it in front of my friends. it happened much like what happened to you, but we were watching a movie (Akira, actually, and I was going on about 35 hours awake. I fell asleep with my eyes wide open. they thought I was tring to fool them when I snored. I woke up very bewildered.

I can imagine how it would have looked very funny/creepy. I had my legs crossed sitting upright in an armchair, holding my book as it rested on my knee, and my other hand with carton in tow. Quite a flamboyant pose along with my snoring and open gob would have been quite a sight. :D
