Has anyone else seen this? I can't believe it took me a week, I love Steve Carrell so much. This movie was hilarious. Made by the same kinda crew as Anchorman, but much better in my opinion because while Anchorman was trying to use random humor all the time, this had an even amount of normal plot stuff/random hilarious stuff. Almost the whole movie is improv'd. I am so so happy that Steve's career can really take off now - he's going to be Maxwell Smart in the Get Smart movie!! Such a perfect choice.
Plus I totally have a crush on him now. His eyes are gorgeous.
There is one scene in this film - I won't mention it but people will probably know what I'm talking about - I laughed so hard that I cried. I don't think I've ever done that before.
Hope I'm not hyping it up, but god damn, I loved it!
Yay!
steve carrell = i'll see whatever movie he is in. he seems to make pretty good jokes here and there.
commie, do you listen to slayer?

the Office isn't his fault. he does the best he can with what little he has to work with.

Is it the waxing bit? That part of the commercials always makes me giggle a little. I want to see this, but I haven't had a chance yet. :(

Guess what - that's real. He was really being waxed when they filmed it.
Yeah I wouldn't blame him for the office either - he had all the talent so they put too much on him, I think at least. I watched it cause he was on it but meh.

I know, I read that somewhere. And you can see him bleeding, right? *shudders*

Yeah, it's awesome.
But really, the movie puts the commercials to shame. It's so good. And I know good comedy!
The director, Judd Apatow has done so many great things like The Ben Stiller Show and Freaks and Geeks. I hope he starts directing more feature lengths now.

yeah I'm working on the sequal right now to that movie, "The 40 Year Old Gay Christian Virgin" and then to complete the triology, "The 40 Year Old Slut".
I'm thinking sexy nuns for the Gay Christian Virgin...in a tasteful manner, of course. :o
I've got to get cracking before that dude turns 41 and I make "The 41 Year Old Bitter Asshole".

I thought that part of the trailer was pretty dumb. It turned me off from wanting to see the movie if it's just going to be that kind of stuff. But I have been hearing good things overall, so who knows.

Don't let it turn you off! I promise the movie is much better than the trailers. They didn't do a very good job on those. The waxing part is funny only because you know it's actually happening and they are all trying not to lose it.

I thought it was lame. I like Steve Carell and Paul Rudd, but I just didn't think the movie was the goodness.

I did buy the poster. The poster is golden.
Sometimes movies show up a little late over here. Ok, most of the time. Anyway this was great stuff. Also noticed that 11 year olds are allowed to see it here in Finland.
