Is there any way for anyone to retrieve information on the hard drive, such as Instant Message conversations, emails that require a password to get into or the like?

Probably, but Boomin is probably the guy to ask...

Like a log of the conversation? Yea, I can access my logs without having to log in. Its in the IM folder. I never thought about that until now. Better go delete.

But it opens up a NotePad program to view it. I don't know about saved emails on your hardrive. I'm sure it would automatically open up Outlook and ask for a password but then again, maybe you could "Open With" Word or NotePad and it wouldn't ask for a pass.

but, you elected to save those in an IM folder, right? i though that like on Yahoo, it asks if you want to save those to a folder, but i don't recall them being saved or asked to be saved on msn or aol.

perhaps there is somewhere I could turn off the save but I'm assuming the default always does save.

I'm using Trillian though so I don't know about AOL and Yahoo!

You'd have to be using a program that logs IM conversations in order to view them again. From my experience, not many of them automatically have it turned on... so you might be out of luck on that one. Trillian, however, does automatically log conversations so if you use that and need instructions on how to scope 'em out, hit me up again.

As for the e-mails, you'd have to probably be using an e-mail client on your computer and not something like Hotmail/Yahoo! Mail/GMail. If you don't save your sent messages though, then I have no idea.

Pretty much this post is useless. Awesome, huh?

All the print screen button does is copy the current image of your screen to your clipboard. Open your photo editing program and paste it into the window... make sure to adjust the size of the new picture to whatever your resolution is first. Then go to the file tab and print that sucker. F'real.
