Electronic music pioneer Robert Moog passed away about a week ago. Here, online, is a collection of very rare records made using his famous Moog synthesizers. Included is LES BAXTER: Rachmaninoff Prelude in c# Minor [sampled by The Beastie Boys in "Intergalactic"].

Not available as a commercial release, this is a collection of select tracks from OOP records. Thanks to my buddy Mr Fab for posting these!

Check em out.

And if you're a fan of this stuff,
Check out "Moog: The Electric Eclectics of Dick Hyman"

Thanks BC. I'ma huge fan of the Moog. I love these. I especially like the Average White Band cover.
RIP Robert Moog.
