Ballad of pshabi
I ain't lookin' to compete with you,
Beat or cheat or mistreat you,
Simplify you, classify you,
Deny, defy or crucify you.
All I really want to do
Is, baby, get over 35 albums by you. :)

I never have, and probably never will, catch Bob Dylan fever.
His stuff in the '60s, when he goes electric, is hard to top.
*braces for throngs of angry folk fans still angry at Dylan for using an electric guitar*

I luvs me Bob Dylan, but I'm not sure that there are 35 Dylan albums worth owning, are there? Unless you count that first Traveling Wilburys record.

All my downloaded CDs just end up in this pile next to my computer. I don't label them half the time even. I don't consider them part of my collection.
And I don't think Dylan has 35 albums worth owning either.
I have his first 9 albums and then scattered ones from throughout his career.

i just downlaod all my albums and put them on the mp3 player...sometimes i consider buying something like i used to but then i say "why buy when i can download?" all you really get is a nice cover and case and the feeling that u own it..

i dont find the feat of downloading 35 albums from one artist in 24 hours particularly post/thread/brag worthy

Yeah, I mean, there's nothing wrong with doing it. I just wouldn't feel all that special about it, that's all.
Now, had you copped the original vinyl pressings of all those albums in mint condition from the basement of an ex girl's parents, that'd be a little more impressive.

you also get the nice feeling of not contributing the the massive slump the record industry is in at the moment.

copping 35 original pressings in mint condition from ebay at $150 a pop is probably the pinnacle though.

If a dude were to steal 35 T Shirts from a Lucky Brand Store I'd be all over reading about that too. That would be well over a grand in T Shirts.

Hey pshabi, I think it's awesome that you downloaded over 35 albums by Bobby Dylan, don't listen to those who say it isn't postworthy, they have hackeysacks for brains.

...wonder if it includes the Eat the Document footage of Dylan puking in the back of a limo, wasted on heroin, while John Lennon looks on, horrified...

 I never said downloaded. ;)
My wife is a manager at Lucky Brand. I'm a 27 year old dad of 2, but I would wear pretty much any piece of men's clothing in that place. I think it's the shit fo sho.
My Dylan shirt from their is really cool. I should post a pic of it.
