I have friends that wear the hiking sandals that look a lot like them--with the funny toe shape. They look simply adorable on small feet, but on my huge feet they look like clown shoes.

I looked at the picture of these shoes and thought to myself, "Wow, those do look comfortable as hell!!" I actually was trying to determine if I could get away with wearing those around the neighborhood but I decided that that probably would not be a good idea. But I actually contemplated it!!!

I remember a time when I would have said "Hell, no!! I don't give a fuck how comfortable they are!" on sight. :(

A girl I work with, Lindsey, whom I admire all the time for being so stylish and exotic looking, wore them one day and I was apalled. I felt betrayed, my local personal style icon had gone to the bright, rubbery, ventilated side. :eek:
