Why is it I can't view www.beastieboys.com or www.beastieboys.com/bbs from my home computer but I can view beastieboys.com and beastieboys.com/bbs from here?

I found this is why I don't see post icons from home and the board doesn't format properly here either.

Do you get a specific error message, or does the site just not format correctly on your home computer?

if I type the url directly, I get a msn search error screen saying they can't find www.beastieboys.com but try www.beastieboys.com instead :confused:

if i click that link in IE I get a page unavailable, if I do so in Firefox I get a time-out error.

so when I post under the non-www version it never loads the images on the board because they're under the www. server it seems.

Weird. The only time something like that would happen would be when we're making DNS changes - and we haven't done that for a long time.

So, either something odd is going on with your ISP at the moment, or it's an issue with the software configuration on your PC...Unfortunately I can't really do much about either.

I just changed ISPs, hoping it would help solve the problem. And with trying both Firefox and IE getting the same result... I'm real close to just formatting the drive.

It started during some major changes a while back and when I got banned it just sorta stuck. I even tried re-installing IE and it didn't help.

If you changed ISPs and it didn't help, then it's definitely a software issue with your PC.
