i doubt it.

actually, i'm not sure if hobart actually qualifies as a city.
i've lived in tasmania all my life.

no wonder i'm on here all the time :(

My city is small.

Basically, hit the bars, go to a friends house, movies, maybe a nice restaurant, uhhhh something queer like mini putt and yeah, end.

My town (not city, mind you) sucks the most.

I do not lie.

We have one club. It's full off rednecks and crack whores.

And I think everyone owns a cow and a banjo. I don't, though. I'm not hip enough, damn it.

Would you consider going somewhere else? I'm sure there may have something hindering you to do that just yet, but whenever you get the chance, do it!:)

I've been living in this town for about one year and a half and it's a great place. There are lots of stuff to do and see, but I'm not taking advantage of those wonderful things because I ain't got no money babe! Plus, I don't know anyone here. I've been studying and also trying to get a job...well, I will.

But there's something I hate about this place. Drug dealers command it. Totally rule it. It's a very dangerous place, with lots of robbery with guns and shotguns and stuff like that and let me tell you it ain't pretty! I may come back to my boring city someday where I can drive with no fear and just enjoy my every day life!

Awww, sorry about that.:(

Boring cities are not that bad. Think of it as that you can always go to another places and have major fun, but meanwhile you could start doing things, like starting a new course you've always wanted to do and work on your inner self! It's good, seriously good! :)

yes.

before you bite my head off, let me explain.

i grew up in a tiny little suburb of new york, in long island. in this tiny little suburb, there is ONE road, extending less than a mile, where there are shops. about 3 miles away, there is a very, very expensive strip mall sort of place, where the shops are like gucci, emporio armani, LV, hermes, etc.
as a young adult growing up in this town, i wanted to rip my hair out and cry. my friends and i werent really allowed to go into nyc, so all we could do is walk back and forth endlessly, eating pizza and sitting in the very, very small town square.

so, i feel your pain.

I'm positive that my city is twice as boring as your city and I don't even know where you live. My town is just dead. However I did work in a hospital kitchen once when I was in high school and we had a Hobart brand commercial dishwasher. Nice machine.

PJ: I thought MK was a town?

My city is alright, not buzzing but still, it's a £1.80, 15 minute train journey away from Birmingham. (y)

I live just outside of Vancouver. The Lower Mainland/Greater Vancouver area has everything. Everything. So I guess my answer would be no.

the town in which i grew up was pretty boring. about as countryside as you can get in so cal, until all the mini-malls and houses went up. but the city in which i live now is pretty, uhm, low-income, so it's at least more exciting. we get a ghetto bird chasing someone around here at least once a month (y) and we're only about half an hour from downtown L.A., so fun's never that far away.

I was gonna make a snide comment about Vancouver but I got nothing, Vancouver rules.

In Winnipeg you either drink or go to the movies.
That sounds a little like Wisconsin except it's 'you either drink inside or you drink outside.' That's all they do in Wisconsin is drink. Don't get wrong.....I've got nothing against it. I fucking loved it up there. I miss it so.

*sigh* :(

nah, not really, the rent is pretty high.
the population is about 250,000. it seems like less.

true, move to brisbane then. in the uni holidays i'm moving to toowong which is about 7 mins from the city and for $111 a week i get my own bedroom, bathroom, walk in wardrobe and my own dungeon :D

cant get any better than that in sydney or melbourne
