Ok this guy is a good friend of mine from school, we were in a lot of classes together for IS. He is a total geek though. He loves dragons and wears dragonball z shirts, loves wrestling and slicks his hair back. plus he has a lower soul patch under his chin. He graduated with me in the same class and he still doesnt have a job, yet i have one out in LA? and he said the job market sucks.
anyways, here's the converstation that we had today. He can't spell or write legible sentences, just as a warning.
Pat: so whats gas out there? 5 bucks a gallon?
Me: just around $3
Me: i heard about the atl fiasco
Pat: yep, Cops were put out to stop people to blocking intersections
Pat: you know the QT at the corner of boggs and Sat. they lines were into the intersection
Me: damn
Pat: they are blaming the dude on news talk 750 he told people that we had enough gass for a week without help... now it's more like 2 days
Me: boortz?
Pat: nah he does morning traffic
Pat: oy
Pat: just goes to show how stupid people in Atlanta are
Me: yeah it does
Pat: hell we'd be set if they syifaned out all the gas in cars at car dealers
Pat: I don't think Bush is going to get re-elected, I was suprised he didn't accept germanies help right away
Me: well bush cant get re-elected
Pat: there were talks about changing that so that clinton could run
Pat: but anyone right now in politcal power, this affects all of them, I wouldn't be suprised to see a lot of changes next ellection
Me: me neither
Me: i hate the politcal process anyways
Pat: and reporters afer fucking stupid... hello, yes they've spent three days cleaning with just getting efforts in, no they ahve not looked at all the damage, it was funny... the guy in governer of some county in MI said if one more reporter asked what the death toll was up too he was going to throw the report out of the building...
Me: ha
Me: nice
Pat: and I wouldn't be suprised to see riots US wide, expecially in Texas were they are moving people 350+ miles or Alabama or FL where they have moved people out of harazadist areas.
Me: good thing im this far west
Pat: not really
Pat: ya'll get your natural gas from them
Me: oh yeah
Me: shit
Pat: 45% of it if I remember correctly
Pat: your power bill could be castropic soon
Pat: and remember hurricane season is far from over, got 3 more months
Pat: but hey next time you go gable down there you won't be on the river, they are changing those laws... so that the casinos will come back and they won't be totally fucked econimicaly
Pat: and I wouldn't be sad if German's or Dutch rebuild the leveies or bridges down there, they are considered the worlds best designer's and builders for water protection since they deal with floods every year since the dawn of time
Pat: and when it comes down to it, it's not a US problem, it's a Western, if not world problem... The effect it will have on the US will spill over big time
Pat: but hey I filled up my tank before Katrina hit florida the first time, like always, so I got a full tank at 2.19 a gallon
Me: i filled up my tank monday morning @ $2.79 :/
Pat: lol, but I drive my car like once every two weeks
Pat: but now the job market really sucks so whats a person to do
Me: yeah true that
