Because its the first day of spring for us southern hemispherians, me and my girl went to the beach.

Lismore. And the surf was alright. Not flash, there was a fairly strong southerly blowing. That beach is fairly well protected, so the wind didn't destroy the surf like it does elsewhere. There was a decent 1.5-2m SE swell that produced some pretty heavy, rideable waves. The early would have been the go there today.

What gorgeous photos. Your daughter will cherish that one of the two of you. (I would LOVE to have had a shot like that of me and my dad.) How sweet and what a gorgeous shoreline. Nice! (And Erin is adorable!)

It's been bloody windy down here too. Looks like a nice day though, how come the sky is so much bluer in that 4th pic, is it the camera or just shifting clouds or something?

Man I can't wait until I come up to byron bay in february :)
