I saw Mixmaster live last weekend, and was blown away, obviously.

I noticed that he din't change records on turntables that looked like they were spinning records. He would select shit on his laptop every time he was changing the track, sample etc..

Is this like a digital version of C.D tables?

Are they designed to look like actual decks, while giving the Turntablist the abiltiy to cue up samples via wav, or whatever?

It looked hella nifty, but I wonder how those with decks on here feel about it?

Nah, it had arms and all that. Looked like real turntables.
