I feel that the Beastie Boys have shown an innate sensibilty when it comes to working with the right people throughout their career.

This is to take nothing at all away from the three of them, but is to rather highlight a talent I feel is crucial to their legacy.

Mario C shoulda hung around for TT5B. He probably couldn't touch the style of LTI.... and PB was great with just the Dust Brothers but I definately would of liked the new record more with the Mario influence.

I've always thought that too. I've noticed they are always on their top game when collaborating with other MCs, like with Q-Tip and De La Soul. I think being around such accomplished artists makes them that much eager to show their skill.
