Azureus makes my internet-based programs crash. it makes my internet really slow too. why? i have no fucking idea. but i haven't run azueus in a couple of days and my internet is fine. if i had azereus running; msn would crash, internet would slow down.

It's making your internet slower because Azureus is uploading and downloading all the time. But it shouldn't make it crash, never happened to me since I started using it long ago.

yeah i knew downloading would make it slower; i don't upload. but it made my internet REALLY slow, like, half an hour to load the google page (yes... i let it sit there and load just to time it.)

but these problems haven't happened lately (cause i ain't runnin' azureus). is there any other bittorrent programs or is azureus the shit?

Here's (http://azureus.aelitis.com/wiki/index.php/NetworkConnectionDying) what Azureus says about crashing. There are many other programs, but I haven't tried any since it's always worked great for me.

i tried azureus straight after my previous post and same result; everything crashed.

i have a USB modem, not a router - make a difference, ya think?
