Most soundcards for the last 10 years I found to be decent with a good speaker system, or maybe I'm just not super audiophile

everything plays bad. I ain't got a sound card. Just been using the small jack. Whe nI hook it up to my stereo you can get an okish sound but nothing like playing CD's on the actual stereo.

It's a new computer but I didn't bother getting a soundcard for it cus I thought I'd just see wait and see and play around with the xxms equalizer. But nah, I want a sound card. It does look pretty funky what turd recommends but I cannot find it for sale

it's pretty new. i don't think it has been released over in europe yet. if you're just interested in music and not gameing, check out some mtronics cards
