Ahhh totally agree with this , I remember when they were trying to stop a war that some president tried to start. In 1999 when they won the award in MTV and the people didnt let MCA finished his speach. That was really rude. They are making a big difference and some people doesnt want that. Is really a shame. But the beastie boys has all my support.

Yea i like how they give to charities and that they don't "Beef" with other artists like most rappers, and also they're down-to-earth and are NOT over-rated like alot of artists on TV but then again most of the artists on MTV are not talented..

Na mate I think MCA had the respect of most the people in the room. Adrock too a little earlier. Sure, not everyone may have agreed, but most people have the respect for the Beasties to let them say what they want.

It struck me how polite Yauch was too, not for the first time. He also gave reason's for saying it there and then (not often theres the chance to speak to so many people) and it was coming from the heart, which i think everyone could appreciate.

Far more thought and consideration into that speech than say Kanye's recent outburst. I honestly respect that guy in so many ways (y)

And if anyone thinks I'm sucking up or that, fine, but it's how I see things and I think it's relevant to the theme of this thread.
