Please post old school memories from concerts or whatever from the good old days.Im talking about 86 to 92.My best old school memory was when my boy tossed his BUD hat on stage at the spectrum in Philly and MCA wore it,1987.

I was at a huge camping convention in Ohio or Kentucky back in the mid 80's. I met up with some kids that had the same passion for the Beastie Boys that I did and we decided to enter a lip synching contest.

We did Fight for your Right and had a blast with it. I wish I had a video of the performance because it was god awful. We didn't win but like I said before, we had a blast doing it.

saw them at the trocadero bar in philly on the check your head tour. Firehose and basehead opened. They opened with "the new style" and encored with "no sleep till brooklyn". It was a really good show.

I think it was 87 in cleveland when they open the doors to the hall my feet never touched the ground. I was pushed past security. I still have my ticket untorn. we were pushed through and me and my 3 friends looked at each other in slow motion then looked at the empty concert hall ahead of us then looked back at the mob trying to get in so we started running to the front of stage. (Concert Lesson #1 if there are 3 opening bands save your energy for the ones you want to see upclose.)

87 - Seeing the Beastie Money tapestry drop for the Together Forever show. The lights go out and then hearing NO SLEEP TILL....damn, I'll never forget that feeling. Mike and Yauch joining Run DMC onstage for their encore with Walk This Way.

92 - New Orleans and Houston shows. Seeing Yauch climb up the wall of speakers at the Unicorn in Houston.

I live in Philly and at the time they headlined for Lollapolluzza (sp?) I was working for the Corestates Center for Security. That day I was assigned to the back of the stage. I got to meet them while they were shooting hoops. It was a brief meeting but great for me none the less. Sorry this was n't as glamorous as some of the other meetings.

I wish I was my age during 1986, I regret being born in 1990. Now I can't say I've been a fan since 1986 and I went to all their concerts, and I listen to stuff that was made 20 years ago although it's all really good, I just wish I could've experienced it while it was happening you know? :(
